Chief Executive Officer and President, Mr. Spencer Shim heads SAMSUNG Electronics Philippines Corp. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Shim served as the General Manager of the Marketing Division in China Headquarters. Mr. Shim also served as the Chief Country Representative from 1993 to 1998 in the Philippines.

Mr. Shim possesses extensive overseas management experience from his past 24 years in SAMSUNG. He has held key positions from Research & Development, Planning, to Sales & Marketing.

With SAMSUNG being named as the fastest growing brand in the country, Mr. Shim’s priority is to continue to build on this success for SAMSUNG to ascend as the Most Admired Company in the Philippines. To achieve this goal, Mr. Shim elucidates on his corporate philosophy – Balance. Balance can be achieved by working on the three operational excellence systems:  Detailed Management, Field Management and Efficiency & Effectiveness.

Mr. Shim graduated from Sungkyun Kwan University with degree in Engineering.
