How do I use ClickPlay?

Can't wait to start watch on ClickPlay? Just follow this step-by-step guide to get you on your way to those blissful couch potato moments.

For First Time Users

  • Create a ClickPlay account on a computer using a valid email address, your preferred password, and the ClickPlay code included in the package that you bought to get your reward credits. Registration is a one-time process only.
  • How to use ClickPlay: Step 1
  • Using your Samsung Smart TV, find the Samsung App Store in the homepage and open it.
  • How to use ClickPlay: Step 2
  • Download the ClickPlay application and install.
  • How to use ClickPlay: Step 3
  • Open the ClickPlay application from the homepage of your Samsung Smart TV and log-in using your registered email address and password.
  • How to use ClickPlay: Step 4
  • Browse the movie, choose which movie you would like to watch, and hit the play button. For every movie that you get to watch, credits* will be deducted from you.

For Registered Users

  • Open the ClickPlay application from the homepage of your Samsung Smart TV.

  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE
    You have to register your Clickplay account to the Clickplay website within 30 days after you have purchased the Samsung Smart TV bundled with Clickplay credits.
  • WILL MY CREDIT EXPIRE AFTER A CERTAIN PERIOD? HOW LONG WILL IT BE?
    You have to use your Clickplay credits within 90 days starting from the day you register your account in Clickplay.
  • IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY TIMES I COULD WATCH THE MOVIES THAT I HAVE PURCHASED USING MY CREDITS?
    You may watch your movie for unlimited times within 48 hours starting from the time you first watched the movie. After which, the movie will not play anymore and you have to purchase it again and use your credits to be able to watch it again.
  • IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY MOVIES I CAN PURCHASE A DAY?
    No, there is no limit. You may watch all the movies that you can buy with your available credits.
  • AM I DOWNLOADING THE MOVIES THAT I PURCHASE?
    No, you don’t. The movies are just being streamed through your Smart TV via the internet and you may not save and copy it to your other devices.
  • DO I OWN THE MOVIES THAT I PURCHASE?
    No, you don’t. The movies are only available for streaming and you may not save the movie, copy the movies to other devices, or distribute to your friends. The movie you purchased will only be watchable within 48 hours since you started watching it.
  • CAN I WATCH ALL THE MOVIES THAT I PURCHASED IN ONE DAY WITHIN 48 HOURS?
    No, you can’t. You may only watch the last movie that you purchased for unlimited times within 48 hours after you first watch it. Hence, we suggest you watch your purchased movie first in full before you purchase another movie.
  • DO I NEED AN INTERNET TO WATCH MOVIES IN MY SAMSUNG SMART TV VIA CLICKPLAY?
    Yes. An internet connection is necessary to be connected to your Smart TV for you to be able to watch movies via Clickplay.
  • WHAT IF I HAVE SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION? WILL IT COMPROMISE THE QUALITY OF THE MOVIES THAT I PURCHASE?
    Clickplay offers different bitrates depending on the internet speed of its subscribers. Standard Definition is available in three bitrates: 300 Kbps, 600Kbps, and 1Mbps. This means that if your internet speed is lower than 1Mbps, you may opt to choose the 300Kbps or 600Kbps so the video will not stop or buffer. But if you have internet connection that is above 1Mbps, you may choose to play the 1Mbps bitrates. High Definition is offered only at a 1.6Mbps bitrates. This means your internet connection should be greater than or equal to 1.6 Mbps, otherwise, the movie that you are streaming might pause or buffer for a while.
  • WHAT ARE THE FORMATS OF THE MOVIES THAT WE CAN WATCH IN OUR SMART TV?
    Movies in the Clickplay application are available in two formats: The Standard Definition (SD) & High Definition (HD). High Definition (HD) – Movies that are in high resolution (720p) and are normally the same video and sound quality as with a Blu-ray copy. This requires a higher bit rate / faster internet connection speed. Standard Definition (SD) – Movies that are in standard resolution (480p) and are normally the same video and sound quality as with a DVD copy.
  • IS CLICKPLAY AVAILABLE WITH PREVIOUS SAMSUNG SMART TV MODELS?
    Yes, Clickplay application is available for download not only for 2012 (E Series) models but it will also be available soon with 2011 (D Series) and 2010 (C Series) models as well.
