Last Update date : 2014.02.03

The screen mirroring feature allows you to mirror your phone or other compatible mobile device's screen onto the TVs screen wirelessly. This feature allows you to use your big screen television instead of your devices smaller screen for showing content, media playback, or other function.

Screen mirroring is compatible with the following devices:

  • Samsung Galaxy S4
  • Samsung Galaxy S3
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 2
  • Samsung Galaxy Camera (EK-GC110)
  • Samsung 8” in Galaxy Note (GT-N5110)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1” (GT-N8013)

Check your device settings for AllShare Cast, Mirrorcast, or Screen Mirror options. The name of the function may vary by model and carrier. All devices listed above must be running at least Android version: 4.1.2

Important: If you have recently updated your phone or tab to Android version 4.3 you will need to install the following patch to continue to enjoy screen mirroring. Screen Mirroring Patch

    • Watch videos from Apps on your external device.
    • Play music through your TV's speakers instead of your external device's.
    • Have people watch the game you are playing.

Note: There is usually a slight lag between the actions performed on the external device so you will not be able to watch the TVs screen while playing face paced games where timing is critical.
