Resetting Internet Explorer settings

 

1. “Control Panel” → “Network and Internet” → “Internet Options.”

 

2. Click the “Use new tab” button under the “General” tab.

 

3. Click the “Reset…” button under the “Advanced” tab.

 

4. Click the “Reset” button and click the “Close” button.

Setting up additional features

 

1. Start “Internet Explorer.”

 

2. Press the “Alt + T” key and click “Manage add-ons.”

 

3. Select “Toolbar and Extensions” on the menu on the left.

 

4. Set “Show” to “All add-ons.”

 

5. Select all items and click the “Disable all” button.

1. Jot down the name of each installed toolbar.

 

2. “Control Panel” → “Program” → “Uninstall a program.”

 

3. Double click on an installed toolbar and uninstall it.

 

4. Restart the system.

 

5. Check that the toolbars have been removed when you
