Singapore, 18 January 2013 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today introduced Asia’s first Samsung Mobile PIN in Singapore, a premium consumer experience space. The Samsung Mobile PIN located in the heart of Orchard Road, at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza, heralds a new state-of-the-art consumer experience and will open from 18 January to 12 March 2013.
First launched at the London Olympics in 2012, Singapore marks the debut of the Samsung Mobile PIN in Asia, demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to bringing value-added experience to customers in this part of the world. Designed with the theme of “Your World Without Walls”, the unique exhibit will encourage consumers to fully interact and experience the latest intuitive technology across Samsung’s latest suite of mobile devices, including the GALAXY Note II LTE, GALAXY Note 10.1 LTE, GALAXY S III LTE and GALAXY Camera.
“We are proud to present consumers in Singapore with a new interactive Samsung experience. The Samsung Mobile PIN will challenge consumers to discover and re-think how we can use technology to enable us to live in a world without barriers or walls,” said Stanley Goh, Vice President, Sales, Samsung Asia Pte Ltd.
Visitors to the Samsung Mobile PIN will meet Samsung brand ambassadors who are on hand to provide a unique and exclusive Samsung experience, allowing them to try out Samsung’s smart mobile devices, functions, services and apps. Through participating in a series of lessons and activities, consumers can earn coupons, PIN badges and vouchers which can be accumulated to exchange for exclusive Samsung Mobile PIN premiums, and stand a chance to win one of 10 Samsung GALAXY Note II LTE.
Performing at the launch, Samsung Singapore’s celebrity ambassador and well-loved singer-songwriter, Olivia Ong also shared updates about her new and exciting “Wonderland” project – a creative song writing odyssey that she embarked on with Samsung and her fans with inspirations that are uniquely Singapore. “Throughout this creative journey, I’ve had the luxury of using my GALAXY Note II LTE to help me instantaneously capture inspirations and moments that go into the composition of my song for the Wonderland project. It’s an exciting time for me to work with my fans and I can’t wait to share our joint creation,” said Olivia Ong.
Fans can also look forward to experiencing Olivia’s journey in Wonderland, with six behind-the-scenes videos documenting the whole process from song composition to Olivia’s actual concert day. The videos will be available on http://galaxywonderland.sg.
