SAMSUNG Pixon: Singapore's First 8-Megapixel Touch Screen Camera Phone

SINGAPORE - 31 October 2008 - SAMSUNG Electronics, a leader in mobile technology, has launched Singapore's first 8-megapixel touch screen camera phone, the SAMSUNG Pixon. At just 13.8mm thin, the sleek camera phone offers photographic quality, features and a silhouette comparable to that of a digital camera.

SAMSUNG Pixon features the latest camera functions as well as its own unique SAMSUNG Mobile Widget technology which enables users to personalise their phones with downloadable widgets. The SAMSUNG Pixon also boasts a 16x digital zoom with Auto Focus, fast shutter, face detection and geo-tagging - all navigated through a 3.2 inch touch screen display encased in a sleek design.
