Extended Warranty

EXCEPTION: LCD TV model: LA19R71BAX (1 year warranty only)

1. General Information
1. The extended warranty provides additional after-sales coverage on products for a period of up to 3 years from the date of purchase.
2. The coverage includes parts, labour and panel.
   
3. Accessories (eg. Remote control, shelves etc) are not eligible for the extended warranty.
4. The coverage shall commence upon the acceptance of terms and conditions as specified herein and the registration with the agency within the stipulated registration period. The offer shall lapse thereafter if SAMSUNG do not receive notification from customer during the period of offer.
5. The following documents MUST BE presented during servicing.
1. Original Warranty card with the extended 2 year warranty stamp
2. Original invoice with the extended warranty stamp
3. Original extended warranty receipt.
6. Where the terms and conditions in this agreement are not spelled out, reference shall be made on the terms and conditions as stated in the warranty card.
7. Claims accumulated during the period of coverage shall not exceed the value of the product at the time of purchase.
8. SAMSUNG reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the warranty at any time without giving due notice to the customers.
9. All decision made by SAMSUNG pertaining to the contract is conclusive and final
2. Validity
1. The extended warranty is valid only when
1. The product is purchased from Samsung’s authorized dealers or outlets.
2. The product is for used in Singapore.
3. The Product is NOT transferable to any third party either in ownership or during the period of contract.
4. The Product is not repair or service by any party other than those appointed by SAMSUNG.
5. The model and serial label should not be defaced or removed from the Product.
3. Exclusion
1. The extended warranty is not applicable to ;
1. Damage or loss caused by modification, alteration, repair by any unauthorized party.
2. Damage or loss caused by mishandling of the customer or person(s) that has accessed to the Product in the customer’s premise.
3. Normal wear and tear.
4. Damage or loss caused by Acts of God or any other sources beyond Samsung’s control.
5. Damage or loss as a result of external bodies i.e. power outages or surges, antenna from Cable TV etc.
6. Damage or loss caused by another device that is connected to the Product.
7. Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, tampering or failure of the customer to follow normal operating procedures outlined in the user manual.
8. General maintenance and servicing.
9. Accessories and peripherals eg. Remote control, batteries, shelves.

LIMITED INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
Digital Still Camera comes with a 1 year Limited International Warranty.

LOCAL WARRANTY
The warranty coverage is 1 year on labour and parts. Applicable only to products sold by authorised local dealers. A copy of purchase receipt is required for verification.

However, the following items are Not Covered by this or any other warranty:
a. Lithium Ion battery Pack/ b. cables/ c. CD software/ d. accessories such as batteries, adapters, memory stick.
* Warranty for the above products strictly for Carry-In service only.

This product is entitled to either One of the warranty stated below:

1. International Warranty (6 months warranty with international warranty certificate and the proof of purchase receipt, for both labour & parts.)
2. Local Warranty (1 year with SAMSUNG Asia warranty card issued by our dealers and proof of purchase receipt, for both labour & parts.)

1. Top loading washing machine from production date Oct' 03 will be entitled to a 5 years warranty for its motor. (Customers need to pay labour & transportation charges after first year of warranty)
2. This warranty does not include chemical cleaning, general maintenance and replacement of filter for air conditioners.
3. Unit installed inaccessible position and /or improperly installed.
4. Unit installed at places where air exposed to chemical fumes.
5. Relocate the equipment to others premises.
6. Wear & Tear of parts, vanish, enamel or paintwork etc.

This warranty guarantees the equipment to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase and it is not transferable. Battery, charger and other accessories are covered for 6 months from the date of purchase. This limited warranty does Not Covered finishes and external parts such as buttons and other attachments, consumable parts and cleaning. In no event shall SAMSUNG be liable for breach of any its obligations to the purchaser or user of the equipment for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to the loss of profit and revenues, anticipated or otherwise, loss of the equipment, damage to the equipment, any loss relating to facilities or service of capital, cost of substitute equipment, loss due to downtime cost or claims of the purchaser or users of the equipment for such damages caused by any defective equipment whether such defective equipment are warranted against or not.

*Mobile Phone warranty only applies to carry-in customers.

Zero Bright-Dot Warranty:

Applicable to selected models: 15”, 17”, 19” & 20” LCD Monitor.

The models above offer Zero-Bright-Dot warranty (Red, Green, Blue and White). This warranty provides 7 days exchange service (Carry in) from the actual date of purchase.

Warranty applies provided the product is handled property for its intended use, In accordance with its operating and care instructions and upon registration of warranty.

Please take note that the normal warranty will resume after 3 days from date of exchange.

Bright Dot Defects
Bright dot defects appear as pixels that are always lit or “NO”.

Black Dot Defects
Black dot defects appear as pixels that are always dark or “OFF”.

ZBD Exchange Policy
For XBD exchange, unit needs to bring down to Samsung Customer Service Plaza (at 20, Toh Guan Road) and strictly Carry-In only. Upon exchange, please produce this warranty card and record of purchase, i.e. sales invoice / receipt is required. Only unit with full accessories & box will be eligible for exchange. Unit without box or accessories will not be entertained.
