Samsung at the WIRED 2012 Event in London

Samsung is proud to announce our partnership with leading technology magazine WIRED in the WIRED 2012 conference. The two-day event hosts 28 inspiring talks and presentations by 40 of the world’s most innovative and influential people. As co-sponsor, Samsung is heavily involved in hosting WIRED 2012 and showcasing the latest technology.

WIRED 2012

Taking place at The Brewery in East London from the 25th to 26th October, the conference is designed to bring alive the talent, creativity and ambition found in WIRED Magazine every month.

Speakers at WIRED 2012 include musicians Gotye and Imogen Heap, model and actress Lily Cole, and figures at the forefront of art, design and technology like Tumblr founder David Karp, Brain Pickings editor Maria Popova and light-graffiti innovators Lichtfaktor.

Design Meets Technology

At WIRED 2012, Samsung will present Design Meets Technology. Curated by WIRED, it is a showcase of ideas, innovation and ingenuity in design and the arts. Design Meets Technology demonstrates how technology is transforming the creative and manufacturing industries, to produce products, content and experiences of the future.

The Future of TV

Delegates will be able to visit a dedicated Samsung Smart TV space where Samsung product experts will demonstrate the latest Smart TV technology, including Smart Interaction using voice and gesture, Smart Content and Smart Evolution, with WIRED product editor Jim Hill also present.

Exploring the Smart Revolution

Samsung Smart TV also sponsors an invitation-only breakfast event taking place on the morning WIRED 2012 begins. At the Samsung talk, guests will be invited to discuss the potential of the Smart revolution and explore how TV can change the world. WIRED deputy editor Greg Williams and contributor Daniel Nye Griffiths will be in attendance.
