Recycling Batteries Responsibly
The European Directive on Batteries and Accumulators aims to minimise the impact of batteries on the environment and encourage the recovery of the materials they contain. In the UK, regulations on the recycling of batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) were Introduced in 2009. The Waste Batteries Regulations aim to significantly increase UK collection and recycling of used portable batteries from 3% in 2007 to 25% by 2012, rising to at least 45% in 2016.
The battery symbol on a product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with general household waste. Instead, it is the consumer’s responsibility to dispose of their waste batteries at a designated collection point so that they can be recycled. The separate collection and recycling of batteries at the time of dispo sal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that they are recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. A comprehensive list of battery recycling centres can be obtained from: www.recycle-more.co.uk
All Samsung products that are subject to the Batteries Directive are compliant with the UK battery and accumulator Requirements. In accordance with national law, SAMSUNG Electronics (UK) Ltd is a member of an approved batteries producer compliance scheme. This scheme collects, treats and disposes of batteries on Samsung’s behalf.

Great design, functionality, portable... price is a little on the steep side
Got this bundled in with the slate, so for me, can't really complain about the pricing. However, when trying to purchase an additional dock separately, it is quite pricey.
This could be due to retailers hiking the prices high for accessories? Also, the docking station does not come with its own power supply, so I have to purchase the power supply separately too. Definitely one of the best designs for tablet/slate docking out there at the moment.Show more +
Very good dock for the slate pc
The dock does what it is built for without any issues. The dock is of a good quality and with a very low footprint. The additional usb, HDMI, Audioand Power ports on the back of the dock really comes handy and keeps the slate itself free from all connections once docked.
It could have been nice if the angle that the slate stands can be adjusted to our liking. Currently its a fixed angle, but it should work for most conditions. Second usb port or a USB 3.0 port on the dock would also have been useful.Show more +
Doc is well worth the money
I now have two of these and use them both, one at work one at home every day. They work better then a free/hidden power cord for charging. The ethernet, full size HDMI, and extra USB port are very handy.
For a doc/cradle used with a ultra pordible device it has just what is needed with out the added complexity or possiblites of faliures extra stuff would add (ie: internal hd).Show more +
The Dock is sleek in style. It holds the Slate very well. I don't yet have a keyboard to match but hopefully soon. One piece of advice--- plug the Dock in before you dock the slate! On the down side just one usb port.
On the up side it is small and portable. I am still looking at a way to hook up an older extra monitor to it.Show more +
