Outstanding Small Workgroup Colour PrinterAn excellent performer throughout its lab evaluation, the Samsung CLP-770ND has taken home the Autumn 2009 BLI “Pick” for “Outstanding Small Workgroup Colour Printer.” With a rated speed of 32 ppm in colour and black, the A4 u nit demonstrated flawless reliability over the course of 60000 impressions, but that’s only the beginning of the conversation.
The CLP-770ND had a perfect durability showing during testing. The unit’s ease of use is another reason why it’s claimed this award. “Adjusting the drawers is a snap, as is loading media,” said BLI Associate Editor Carl Schell. “Meanwhile, users can easily remove misfeeds through any one of the three access areas, and the procedure for replacing print cartridges is clean and straightforward. The fact that users can view toner levels on the display is a nice feature.”
