To celebrate London 2012, Samsung has introduced the Samsung Olympic Visual Identity System. Its purpose is to convey to the people that London 2012 is "Everyone's Olympic Games". The friendly and inclusive design represents the cheering crowds of the Olympic Games, while also giving visitors to the host city a friendly hello from both Samsung and the people of London.

With the aim of connecting people with the Olympic Games, London-based artist Kate Moross has designed, in collaboration with Samsung, a symbol for London 2012. By using a friendly and inclusive design that empowers people to create their own festive experience, Kate hopes to bring to life the Samsung idea of taking part and making it "Everyone's Olympic Games".
