    Dr Christine Braddock CBE has given loyal and outstanding service to education for the past twenty five years. She was awarded a CBE in the January 2008 Honours' List for her Services to Further Education. As Principal and Chief Executive of Birmingham Metropolitan College, she is an exceptional leader with much enthusiasm, energy and passion, which has made the further education institution one of the top performing colleges in the UK. She is a great and positive influence in the community, and a worthy Torchbearer.

To help people take part in the excitement, Samsung will be presenting world class dance act Twist and Pulse from 'Britiain's Got Talent' and highly acclaimed dance troupe, The A-Team.

Samsung will also be capturing and sharing a big cheer of support for London 2012 from the live audiences, which will be open to online tagging and sharing.
