Thomas has done exceptional voluntary work with young people through the Boys Brigade. Through sports activities and challenges, he helps them reach their full potential. Thomas's home is Market Weighton, East Yorkshire, but during the week he works as a teacher in North Yorkshire. When his father Tony died, who was leader of the Boy's Brigade, Tom committed himself to leading the company even though it meant him travelling many 'extra miles'. Thomas is caring, helpful, friendly and trustworthy - a true Local Hero.

To help people take part in the excitement, Samsung will be presenting world class dance act Twist and Pulse from 'Britain's Got Talent'
Samsung will also be capturing and sharing a big cheer of support for London 2012 from the live audiences, which will be open to online tagging and sharing.
