    Christopher Price
    TORCHBEARER
Christopher Price completed his first marathon in 2011, raising £230 for CHAS, and is a true Local Hero. He also participates in other running events, including the first 'Rabbie's Run' 10K in Ayr, where he finished a respectable 4th. He works fulltime with South Ayrshire Council and studies vocational and higher qualifications, as he plans to graduate one day. He copes without complaint with the chronic condition hydrocephalus, which was caused by a brain tumour he had at the early age of 17 months. He wants to continue to support charities, and promote 'ability beyond disability' within the community.
