    Professor John Brooks is the Vice Chancellor of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), and is a selected London 2012 Torchbearer. Through running with the Flame, Peter seeks to endorse MMU's support of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as one of the pre-Games Training Camps. It is efforts such as this that often go unrecognised and are crucial to the running of any Olympic Games.

To help people take part in the excitement, Samsung will be presenting world class dance act Twist and Pulse from 'Britain's Got Talent'
