    Damien Davis
    TORCHBEARER
Selected Torchbearer Damien has set up Team Wayne in memory of Wayne Wilson, who passed away from Leukaemia in January last year. Team Wayne has raised over £10,000 for Leukaemia Research in their attempt at the 'National 3 Peaks Challenge', which involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. Damien's determination and hard work meant that not only did Team Wayne raise thousands of pounds for charity, but he also helped his mother and the rest of the family through their grieving period. He is an inspiration to many young people in his whole community.
