    Richard Parks
    TORCHBEARER
Richard Parks has been completing challenges in order to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. He honours the care given to his Grandmother, who sadly lost her battle with cancer. In total, Richard has completed 737 challenges this year, and hopes to complete a seven-month race to climb the highest mountain on each of the world's continents and venture to the South Pole and North Pole. Unfortunately media exposure wasn't as comprehensive as he would have liked and to keep the challenge on schedule, Richard has sold his house and cashed in all of his savings. There is no Olympic Torchbearer more deserving than Richard.
