To celebrate the deepening ties between fashion and technology, Samsung has embarked on an exciting partnership with Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Samsung will introduce the GALAXY Note 10.1 to this fashion forward audience through a special collaboration with breakthrough British designer Nicholas Kirkwood, showcasing how the fusion of fashion and technology has led to a new generation of exceptionally innovative fashion designs and ideas.
On September 6th 2012, for the first time ever, London’s exclusive Bond Street will be completely pedestrianised as it transforms to host the annual fashion event. At the heart of the evening’s celebrations will be the Samsung Stage, where guests can watch music acts including Charlie XCX, Aluna George, Jess Mills and Wolf Gang perform, and hear British fashion designer Nicholas Kirkwood share his thoughts on the role of technology in the fashion industry, his future collaborations, and how the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 aids his creative ideation process. The Samsung Stage will be located on Bond Street near Burlington Gardens.

Inspired by the GALAXY Note 10.1’s culture of intuitively aiding creativity, productivity, and personalised communications, Nicholas has designed two limited edition cases for the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 which will be unveiled at Fashion’s Night Out at the Samsung Stage. Nicholas will also be announcing the winner of the Samsung ‘Fashion Moments’ competition which is being run in association with Vogue - five lucky runners up win themselves a GALAXY Note 10.1 and the chance to meet Nicholas in person; while the grand prize winner will receive a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. Those attending Vogue Fashion’s Night Out will also have access to a custom-made pop-up GALAXY Studio where they can get to experience the GALAXY Note 10.1 for themselves and try out features discussed by Nicholas. The GALAXY Studio will be right next to the Samsung stage. The custom pop-up space will allow the fashion crowd to be amongst the first to try out the GALAXY Note 10.1’s multi-screen capabilities and unique S-Pen, both of which signify a huge step forward in terms of what a mobile device can offer. Consumers will also be able to participate in demonstrations and activities including games and ‘fashion sketch’ drawings, where an image of a GALAXY Studio guest is sketched by an artist onto the GALAXY Note 10.1. The finished drawing can be shared with them instantly by transmitting it directly to their mobile device.
The GALAXY Note 10.1 is available to buy now in Europe and the USA and will soon roll out to other countries globally.
