London March 11 2008 - SAMSUNG Electronics UK today unveils the latest additions to its popular Silencio range: the SC6316 bagged canister is the world’s quietest vacuum combining power with silence; the intelligent and ultra hygienic baggless canister SC9540 and the bagless upright VCU9380, offering versatility and convenient cleaning capability. As well as offering low noise, flexibility and intelligence, these additions boast SAMSUNG’s patented Silver Nano health system meaning any air that is emitted back into the room is odour and bacteria free – truly the most efficient and hygienic vacuuming experience ever.

The SC6316 is a revolution in vacuum cleaning - with only 67decibels of noise transmitted, making it the world’s quietest cleaner, meaning you can clean when it suits you, without worrying about waking your family or bothering your neighbours. It is also energy efficient in more ways than one - at only 1600w it requires minimum consumption but gives maximum output due to the new 3-way brush that has a high pick up rate of 75% (the standard is around 67%). The sealed filtration system also means that the dust you vacuum is kept in the bag and not emitted back into the room.

Continuing the quiet efficiency of the SC6316, next in the range is the SAMSUNG SC9540 bagless cylinder which is also one of the quietest vacuum cleaners currently available on the market operating at only 73DB. The SAMSUNG patented multi-chamber system traps 99.9 percent of dirt, whilst ensuring a constant high level of suction, combined with the HEPA 13 filter and Silver Nano technology makes it perfect for those who demand anti-allergy, anti-odour and anti-bacteria functionality. In addition, its infrared remote handle control allows you to effortlessly control the vacuum cleaner, without needing to reach down every time you want to vary the suction power or switch the vacuum on or off.

Last but certainly not least is the VCU9380 Baggless upright boasts supreme versatility and convenient cleaning capability. Like the SC9540, the VCU9380 traps 99.9 percent of dirt and it uses its in-built intelligence to detect how dirty the floor is and then sets its suction power accordingly.
