When your washing machine is first delivered, it will come fitted with bolts to hold the drum in place during transportation. These bolts must be removed before use.

1 Loosen all shipping bolts on the rear of the machine using the supplied spanner.
2 Pull the shipping bolt completely out and keep in case the machine is moved in future. Repeat to remove all shipping bolts. Depending on the model, there should be between 3 to 5 bolts.

3 Fill the holes with the supplied plastic bolt caps.
4 To check that all bolts have been removed, open the machine door and move the drum backwards and forwards. If the drum moves freely, the bolts have been removed.

For best performance, your washing machine should be installed on a level, solid floor. The washing machine's feet must sit firmly on the floor. You can adjust the feet to level the appliance.

Please note: If installing the product on a solid levelled floor, it’s advisable to screw in back legs to its maximum and adjust the front legs to obtain a perfect level.

Samsung washing machines use one of two types of levelling feet.

 Type 1 feet:

1 Level the washing machine by turning the adjustable feet in or out, as shown.
