How do I get the WhatsApp Messenger app on my Samsung Galaxy device?
Downloading the Whatsapp app
Follow these steps to install the WhatsApp Messenger app on your Samsung Galaxy device.
At the moment, WhatsApp has only made the app available on devices running Android 2.1 or later, and devices that are able to receive messages or calls during the verification process.
WhatsApp does not officially support Wi-Fi only devices.
Please note: if you have trouble with an app we recommend contacting that app's developer. Third-party applications are not supported by Samsung. Visit the WhatsApp website for a list of their FAQs.

Note: you will need to have enough spare memory on your device. You can clear space on your device by deleting apps you don't use or by moving them to an SD card.
(You can either do this by pressing the pop-up notifying you that Whatsapp has installed, or it will now be available on the screen after you tap Apps)
