The backlight for Galaxy Note4 Home key and Recent Apps key isn't working

If the backlight isn't working behind the Home key or Recent Apps key on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 it is very likely because Power saving mode is enabled and the key light setting is disabled. To re-enable the backlight follow the steps below.

1 From within Settings touch the Power saving icon.

2 Touch Power saving mode.

3 Check that the switch in the top-right corner is in the on position.

If it is on then proceed to step 4. If it is off then please contact Samsung's customersupport for further assistance, as there may be a hardware fault.

4 Touch Restrict performance.

5 Touch the checkbox next to "Turn off touch key light" to remove the tick and re-enable the backlight. If the box is already unticked then please contact Samsung's customer support for further assistance, as there may be a hardware fault.
