With a baby crawling around the living room, I've gotten rid of the surround sound speakers and now I only have front speakers. I was thinking of putting a set of speakers in the kitchen so that music can be played in both rooms. Ideally I'd like to be able to turn off the speakers in the kitchen (possibly by switching the receiver from a 'surround sound' mode to stereo mode#. Is there a way to get the surround speakers to play the same thing that the front speakers are playing? #I've tried the "panorama" setting in the ProLogic II mode; but it looks like it's not intended to play the exact same signal as the front speakers.) Any thoughts? Do I need a different receiver? Thanks!!!

I have cracking sound coming out my speakers cant tell witch side any more it is so loud. Also I never thought the woofer ever worked. I should have sent the whole thing back when the technician came out the first time. Still it would be nice to have surround sound again with a proper base.
