    hey guys. when i am on wifi my phone tells me when i got a tweet, a facebook message, email etc. however, whenever i am on my mobile data it doesnt tell me any of this, it only tells me about texts, calls, whatsapp messages and those kind. also when i am not on wifi i am not able to download apps or games from the playstore. it just has a loading bar when you pull down the notifications bar at the top. i have done some tests with this downloading problem and if i start downloading on wifi, it works, then if i turn wifi off during the download it stops then when i turn it on again it resumes. please help, i have had this problem for a while Ravi p.s i have not restricted any of these apps

    Hi, Can you please check if there are available updates for the applications in question via the Google Play Store. It would also appear that the 3G service on your device only works intermittently in which case we would adivse that you contact your network provider. Thanks

    Hi Emma, To close apps press and hold your home button and close them from the right hand side. To uninstall apps press menu > settings > application manager > slide to all > scroll down apps until you find the one to remove and click it > press uninstall. Thanks.

    This is my second SIII Mini. The first one ended up being faulty, so I took it back and got it swapped for a new Mini, but the my first Mini updated to 4.1.2 straight away... My new one says that the latest software updates are installed even though I'm running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Extra info: My phone is locked to the o2 network. It's not rooted, nor have I tried to modify it in any way. I just took it out the box, and set it up. I have factory reset the phone several times to no avail. I see there are plenty of tutorials online to manually download 4.1.2, but most of them require that the phone be unlocked (a task that I don't really want to do). Any help would be appreciated, because, as sufficient as 4.1.1 is, I can notice the improvements on 4.1.2

    Hi, If you cannot upgrade your firmware over the air you may want to try upgrading it through Kies. I have provided the link for this software below; http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP If this also says the firmware is up to date, you can visit a local service centre and have it updated.     Hi Neil, 1. From the Home screen tap the Apps menu item. 2. Tap the Internet menu item. 3. Tap the Menu button. 4. Scroll down to Settings and then tap the Settings menu item. 5. Tap the Privacy menu item. 6. Tap the Delete Personal data menu item. 7. Tap the Cache menu item. 8. Tap the Done button. Hope this helps
