    If you take the back off of the phone you'll see it's just above the battery.

    I think I can get an app to send one at a time by e-mail, but I want to transfer them all on to the laptop. This was easy with my N95 but the Samsung Kies thing has no mention of e-mails,only music and pictures. Fine, but I want to move my text messages as well. Is there a way? This is my only problem with and criticism of this great phone.

    Hi Neil, Unfortunately Samsung Kies does not have a SMS backup feature and this is just a limitation of the software.

    We are unsure what this symbol would be, it is most probably associated with one of your installed programs. We would suggest searching online for "Android icons" to see if you can find the symbol and its meaning.

    Within the music application, please press the menu key and select "Set as" - "Phone ringtone". Please note this function may have been removed by your network provider.

    Hi Kirsty, to allow your phone to communicate with your PC you will need to install the correct drivers, please download and install our Samsung KIES software: www.samsung.com/uk/kies Once installed, open KIES and connect your phone with the screen unlocked, you will now be able to transfer files between your PC and phone.     Hi Jeffers. In order to send and receive multi-media messages, your phone must have the correct settings from your network provider. We would kindly ask that you contact your network provider who will be able to push these to your device.
