    My HW - H355 is paired with my UE40HU6900 tv. When the tv is turned on the sound bar auto powers up via the Bluetooth but there is no sound. The sound level is set to 20. I have to press the sound bar mute button twice to get the sound. This is not right, please help.

    when the soundbar switches on via your tv remote does the soundbar display BT ? If so press button F on the soundbar until it displays TV

    The TV software version is 1007.5 According to the Samsung technical support the first advise was to change out the sound bar as this was probably faulty. I have done this, but still have the same fault. The second advise was to upgrade the sound bar firmware. I was told the firmware was located on the HW-H355 support page. Please provide details on how this should be carried out

    Hi Glenn, Is your software on your TV up to date? You can check this by; Pressing Menu> Support> Contact Samsung. Your software should be 1007.5. If you need to download this please check out this link on how to do this http://skp.samsungcsportal.com/integrated/popup/FaqDetailPopup3.jsp?cdsite=uk&seq=1052606. You can also reset your soundbar by; Pressing the play and pause button for 5 seconds. Hope this helps.

    My HW-H355 soundbar cuts out for a split second every 20 seconds or so. It seems to be more pronounced when streaming on netflix, youtube etc through my samsung UE46F6320 TV. I have tried various configurations of PCM and Dolby Digital and different connections of the soundbar to the TV, bluetooth, analogue and digital cables, but still have the same problems. Will a firmware update fix this ? If so, I cant find one on your site.

    I have the same issue with my Samsung E series Smart TV and this sound bar. I have found that switching the SPDIF output on the TV from Dolby Digital to PCM resolves this for me.

    When I go to Bluetooth it just says "wait" on the display so cant connect anything with the soundbar.

    Have just tried pressing & holding down the play/pause button for 5 seconds & it doesnt seem to do anything? Still says "wait"

    Hi Rich, Have you tried resetting your soundbar? You can do this by pressing the play and pause button for 5 seconds. This will reset your soundbar, please reconnect your soundbar to your devices. Hope this helps.

    Hello, When i try to connect my Macbook Pro to the sound bar (it gets detected on the BT connections) it connects and immediately disconnects. How do i fix this? Thank you for your answers in advance. P.S. I already tried pairing and unpairing, reseting the bar.

    The Bluetooth connectivity should work with practically all Bluetooth capable devices from at least Bluetooth 2.0/2.1 have you tried updating your Mac OS and change the audio in audio settings to BT? or updated to the latest Mac OS Works with all Windows, Android, iPhone, devices Ive tried so far.

    Hi Candrew, I'm afraid a sound bar is not able to connect to a laptop through a wireless network. The wireless function is specifically made for TV's. You may be able to connect to the sound bar using a wired connection. However, you would need to contact your laptop manufacturer to for more information on this. Hope this helps.

    Hi, Have you tried altering the Audio sync option? You can do this by; Pressing the Audio Sync buttons on the remote control. Please check out this link for th manual (page 19) http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201402/20140221092415531/HW-H355-XU-0213-eco.pdf. You could also try using a different Optical cable. Hope this helps.

    Hi I have the hwh355 sound bar and a new samsung led 32" tv but I get no sound to the sound bar from the tv.... Bluetooth from iPhone music is great.... How do I get tv sound through the bar please, thanks Tony

    Hi, Does your TV support soundconnect? Have you tried using a Optical Cable? Have you switched the function on the sound bar display to TV? Have you connected the sound bar to the TV correctly? Please check out this link for the manual (page 15) on how to do this. Hope this helps.

    Hi Tracy, Have you connected all the connections correctly? If youy are connecting by Soundconnect, Please check out this link for the manual (page 15) on how to do this http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201402/20140221092415531/HW-H355-XU-0213-eco.pdf. Have you set you TV to external speakers? Is the mute function on? Is the volume set to minimum? Hope this helps.

    Hi Spencer, Yes the HW-H355 Soundbar will connect with the UE40D6100 TV through Bluetooth.
