I have two Samsung TV's and when I move the USB Thumb Drive onto the UE32D4003BW it only presents me with options for photos and music - no movies. I have upgraded the firmware and rebooted the TV but I still have no option for even seeing the filename.

I have a Samsung LED TV UE32D4003BW, connected to a DVD recorder via Scart. I am receiving Freeview via an ordinary roof aerial connection. Is it true that the TV always has to be actually switched on while recording with the DVD recorder? If I switch it off during recording, the result is a black screen. Surely if you set the DVD recorder's timer for when you're out/on holiday, the TV doesn't have to stay switched on for the duration, does it? Or might I not have Scarts and/or aerial connected up in the right order?

If you are using a modern recorder which has digital function, this will record the signal directly from the aerial. If you are using an analogue recorder, the TV will need to be switched on in order to record the digital signal. If your model starts with DVD-SH or SR or VR then it has a digital tuner.

Hi, You drag the supported movie onto the route of the USB stick and place it in the USB port on your TV and press source and select USB from the list. Thanks.

On the rear of tv there are 4 holes which correspond with the plate from the wall mount, but they are too big for a screw and have no threading etc. Are inserts available?

Hi Peter, The TV should have threaded holes in the rear of the cabinet which are spaced according to the VESA standard. Thanks.
