0060 sort of works ...the cursors still don't function on my Sky+ remote

    Describe the issue

    Rob B 2 years ago

0060 didn't work for me; 1340 was the code I needed - ordinary Sky handset (blue version, not Sky+) with revision 9 firmware.

Hi, In reply to your question, the code should be 0060. As far as we are aware, the code has not changed for the new models of this TV.

I bought 8 pairs of ssg-2200ar 3d glasses for my es8000. is this compatible?

    Describe the issue

    Samsung Service 2 years ago

Hi, The following glasses are compatible with your device: SSG-3700CR, SSG-3300CR/GR, SSG-3100GB, SSG-3500CR and our SSG-3050GB We recommend the following website for genuine Samsung accessories: www.4mysamsung.co.uk Or visit your nearest retailer.

    Wolf_Starbuck 2 years ago

Although it is possible you can use 3rd party glasses, I'd recommend using one of Samsung's own models (SSG-2100AB, SSG-2200AR, SSG-3100GB, SSG-3300GR).

I tried the compare function on your website, but many fields were blank and couldn't really understand if it means that it didn't have the feature or the description is not full.

My son is paralysed and cannot use his hands so voice control would be great if hands not required to get it going. What all can be controlled with voice. is the feature the same on the ES7000 and ES8000

    Samsung Service 2 years ago

Hi Alan. The voice feature on the ES7000 and ES8000 are the same. Once the TV has been powered on, it can be controlled simply by saying "Hi TV". You are then able to select channels, adjust volume and open and close various features within the TV. Not all features of the TV can be fully controlled by voice, some like the web browser will require hand gestures to navigate. We would suggest that you visit your nearest retailer to demonstrate its features.in full, it should make watching TV alot easier for your son.

    HDMI Inputs

    andyben 2 years ago

I have 4 HDMI inputs in constant use on my 55d8000 how can i update to a 55es8000 with only 3HDMI inputs?

    Describe the issue

    Answers

    Wolf_Starbuck 2 years ago

That would probably depend on what you're using the HDMI ports for. For example I use 3: TV tuner, Blu-ray, and Xbox360. I have managed to avoid some cables because I have a digital audio cable to my surround sound system from the TV.

The main difference between these two items apart from screen size is that the E8000 is a Plasma TV. To compare these two items, please follow the links below. On The Front & Back Of The TV's Box - '1 Dual Core CPU' - Upgradable To Quad Core In 2013!!, But I Do Not Know The Exact Specs Of The Dual Core CPU That Is In It Either If That's What You Meant.

    Describe the issue

  • Wolf_Starbuck 2 years ago

I just purchased the UE55E800, and I'm incredibly impressed by it. However, the camera is pointing over the seating, and so therefore if using skype, for example, you must stand to be seen. I've looked for the setting to make the camera point lower (something demonstrated in store at one point), but I can't seem to find the setting anywhere.

Hi, In reply to your in question, there should be a little wheel om the back of the camera. You should be able to change the camera angle by using this. We hope that this information is of some help to you.
