Samsung Electronics introduced Environmental Accounting as an example in order to efficiently mange cost related environment activity and expands it step by step. Previously we managed environment cost considering certain classifications such as water, air, scrap, and now we participate in making a national assignment, encourage experts of environmental accounting at every production bases, apply a developed guideline of environmental accounting to production base in the nation, analyse the cost by a new classification type, and join a study that researches environmental efficiency, and promote 2nd level of national assignment as of Environmental Accounting.

Samsung Electronics made a voluntary agreement of Green Purchase with the Ministry of Environment and actively supports Green Purchase (recycling product, Eco-mark certified product) for the society seeking for circulating resources.
