CCFL vs. LED

All light is not created equal. Take the sources that illuminate your monitor, for example. Conventional light source technology, CCFL (Cold cathode fluorescent lamp), does a good job of illumination, but can have serious drawbacks. It’s bulky and wastes valuable space (since you need room for both the lamps and a reflector), and can contain mercury, which is bad for the environment. My samsung monitor at work just quit (have had it for several years) and our company won't purchase any new Samsung monitors. :( Maybe Samsung will replace for me?

I have 2 Samsung LED monitors at work and I absolutely love them! Not only do they have excellent displays but, the touch of color bezels are beautiful. They are a work of art!
