If you have galleries of great photos and videos on your smartphone or tablet, you probably enjoy sharing them with friends and family, but viewing them on the small screen doesn't always cut it. For a better way to share, download the Samsung SwipeIt app and view all of your photos and videos on the big screen with just a swipe.
Get Set to Swipe
Before using SwipeIt, you'll need to download the app to your Samsung Smart TV. It's super easy—just go to the Smart Hub on your Samsung Smart TV, find the SwipeIt app in the Lifestyle section, and download. If you don't already have the SwipeIt app on your mobile Android or iOS device, you will need to download it. When SwipeIt is installed on your mobile device, open the app and connect to Wi-Fi, then enter the SwipeIt code you'll see on your Smart TV and you're all set to swipe. Note: Both the TV and mobile device need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Share Photos and Videos
Once SwipeIt is downloaded and installed on your Samsung Smart TV and mobile device, all you have to do is use your device to select a photo or video. Scroll through the thumbnail gallery, tap on the image or video you want to see and then just swipe it—the image appears on your Samsung Smart TV. You can view all of the photo and video content from your mobile devices on your Smart TV just this easily, so you never have to pass your phone or tablet around when you want to share with friends and family, and because multiple devices can share on the same TV at the same time, everyone can get in on the act.
