Samsung is raising the bar on digital photography with the new NX System. Loaded with features designed to bring professional-grade photos within everyone’s reach, the NX System produces stunning images that can be shared instantly.
The Samsung NX System features an all-new sensor designed to create photographs on a professional level. The 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS Sensor isn’t just built to capture every possible detail in a scene, it’s optimized for low-light situations, so pictures in imperfect lighting conditions still come out clean, without grain and noise.
All the cameras in the NX System are mirrorless in design, which means you can swap a variety of lenses in and out, even on the pocket-sized NX1000. Numerous lenses are available for each camera, from ultra-wide pancake lenses to a premium portrait lens designed to let you get up close. All lenses are compatible and interchangeable with all four cameras in the NX System, and each supports Samsung’s unique i-Function 2.0 system. The i-Function system puts key controls close at hand, letting you set aperture, shutter speed and other key camera settings by simply pressing a button and dialing the lens right or left.
The NX System offers outstanding shutter and recovery speed, whether you’re shooting a single frame or a sequence of shots in continuous shooting mode. With the NX System’s high-speed capture, moving objects come out blur-free and in perfect focus every time, even if you’re grabbing stills at up to 8 frames per second.
Why stop with still photos when your NX camera shoots great video as well? All cameras in the NX System support 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. What’s more, you can switch from snapshot mode to video mode and back with the press of a button. Your videos will feature the same gorgeous colors and fine details as your still photos.
Once your photo shoot is complete, share your favorite shots and videos through Wi-Fi, which is standard on all NX System cameras. Whether you’re backing photos up to the cloud, emailing them to family, or sharing on social networks like Facebook, the NX System makes it easy—and frees you from having to use a cable to do it.
