Delivering Innovation
Many of today's consumer electronics' advanced capabilities are powered by Samsung's industry leading component technology. When we take a closer look inside, many of the components consist of Samsung's low-power logic processes, memory, solid state drives, flash technology, Exynos dual-core mobile application processors, CMOS image sensors, and our backside illumination sensor technology. All of these technologies play an important role in the next-generation design of smart phones, tablets, TVs, GPS, laptops, etc.

Samsung
Core Components
Memory
Samsung's
ubiquitous and enabling memory technologies are core
to every digital system today, from PCs, notebooks,
data centers and servers to tablets, smartphones, digital
cameras and other consumer electronics (CE). Samsung
Semiconductor continues to lead the industry in the
sale of Green DDR DRAM, graphics memory and NAND flash.
LCD Displays
Samsung's
advanced liquid crystal display and LED technologies
continue to drive newer applications such as LCD panels
for tablets, low-power IT panels (e.g. monitor, notebook,
and tablet panels) with advanced LED backlight technology
and narrowbezel panels for digital information displays
(DID).
Logic ASIC
Samsung's
pervasive logic technology is at the heart of many of
today's key CE devices. Our wide-portfolio includes
high-performing mobile processors, Near Field Communication
(NFC) controllers, mobile display drivers and CMOS Image
sensors. These products also are available in package-on-package
(PoP) or system-in-package (SiP) solutions with memory
chips.
Storage
Solutions
Samsung's
innovative SSDs provide unmatched performance and consume
less power in notebooks and servers than HDDs. Our industry-leading
SSDs reduce space requirements and cooling costs in
data centers which translate into greater energy efficiency.
Foundry
Fortified
with a comprehensive ecosystem of design enablement
and implementation partners, Samsung Foundry offers
customers advanced logic process technologies (e.g.
32/28, LPE, and 20nm), as well as high-quality design
IP, high-volume manufacturing expertise and first-class
services.
