Rated 5 out of 5Â by Pubi Some questions Overall, this watch really makes me wonder what a Tizen phone could be. Samsung hit the nail on the head by not turning this into a phone replacement. A Smartwatch should ultimately be simply a second screen to the phone that can do some basic tasks (text, call, calendar, etc). I don't want to have mobile data on my watch. A screen that size is only good for notifications anyway. Wouldn't mind seeing the next version become more ergonomic like the Galaxy S. As to questions, here's one: why the cheap design? Seriously, the difference between the Neo and standard Gear 2 is only the camera, why turn the Neo into a plastic toy looking device? The camera I can see costing the $100 difference, but not the metal trim. Another: why is the connection so shaky? My Galaxy S5 routinely fails to recognize the watch being in proximity (for lock screen). Final: Where are the wrist bands? It was touted as one aspect of customization. Yet, you can't find replacement bands anywhere. February 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5Â by LaFitte727 Has great features for the price I looked at a few smart watch/fitness trackers, and although there are some out there that appear to do more than a Gear 2 Neo, when you combine the features the Gear bias, I don't think you can find a better one for the price. Rated 4 out of 5 Nice Gadget Work group policy maintains that I have to have my phone pin locked with work email installed, so I like this especially so that I can see who has sent an email without going to the trouble to unlock my phone. Calling and voice texting works wonderfully. February 4, 2015
