SAMSUNG Electronics and Klipsch Audio Technologies Introduce the HT-SK6 Home Theater System

Las Vegas, January 9, 2003 - Samsung Electronics and Klipsch Audio Technologies today introduce the HT-SK6 Home Theater System at iCES2003. The HT-SK6, which features Klipsch Audio Technologies award-winning Quintet Microsystem horn-loaded 2-way speakers and a 225 10" powered sub-woofer, combines all of the major components of a home theater system into one compact, convenient product.

"We sought the best partner to fulfill the surround sound component to our next generation home theater system," said Tai-Ho Ahn, CEO of Bluetek, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co.'s Digital Media division. "Naturally, we turned to Klipsch. The result of our combined efforts, the HT-SK6, gives consumers uncompromising audio/video performance without imposing on their living space."

The HT-SK6 features:
* A Progressive Scan DVD Player that allows superior non-interlaced images to be sent to Digital Television viewers and eliminates blurs or distortions
* Flexible playback capability, whether the format is DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, VCD, CD-R, CD-RW or MP3
* AM/FM Tuner with 30 preset memory settings
* 500 watt total system power
* Dolby Digital Surround sound decoder (5.1 channels)
* Digital Theater System (DTS) surround sound decoder
* Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound decoder
* Additional connectivity for existing A/V components, such as VCR, cable or satellite box.
