Food and Drug Administration(FDA) approves safety of RAYPAX

Samsung SDS (CEO: Hong-Ki Kim) announced that its RAYPAX system received FDA approval.

RAYPAX is a PACS (Picture and Archive Communications System) that makes it possible to capture and archive medical images digitally.

RAYPAX significantly reduces the volume of film that medical facilities have to develop and manage.

According to Samsung SDS, the FDA approval is a first for a Korean-developed medical PACS system. Samsung SDS said that it expects RAYPAX to be even more widely accepted in the market with the safety approval of the FDA.
