SamsungSDS (CEO Hong-Ki Kim) and Oracle Korea (www.oracle.com/kr), leaders of Korean e-business solutions and SI operations, signed an agreement on April 12 to launch joint development of purchasing/procurement solutions and to pursue joint marketing.

The two companies plan to develop and market bidding/auction/logistics solutions based on Oracle's e-business solutions for purchasing and procurement. The new solution has the advantage in that it is compatible with and can be expanded into the Oracle platform.
