Metro PCS: How Do I Reset My MetroPCS SCH-R900 (Craft) Phone?

To reset the handset and return all setup options to their factory default follow the steps below:

  1. From the home screen, touch Menu
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Phone Settings
  4. Touch Security
  5. Touch the grey box then enter the Lock code and touch OK, default lock code is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number
  6. Touch Reset Phone
  7. Touch Yes to confirm resetting the handset to the factory default settings

Note: Resetting the handset will NOT delete any contacts
