How Do I Use Voice Dialing On My SPH-M560 (Reclaim) Phone When Using A Bluetooth Headset?
Nuance VSuite 3.2 is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide variety of functions on by the SPH-M560 (Reclaim) handset. Nuance software automatically voice-activates all contacts for voice dialing and searching. No pre-recording or training is required. You can speak phone numbers naturally to dial and use voice commands to launch applications and navigate phone menus.
Note: Voice Command recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. It does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a voice command session with a Bluetooth headset follow the steps below:
- Press and hold down the Bluetooth device's button until the following “Say a Command” menu appears:
- Call (Name or #)
- Send Text (Name or #)
- Send Picture (Name or #)
- More Options
- Send Voice SMS (Name or #)
- Lookup (Name)
- Go To (Menu)
- More Options
- Check (Item)
When it recognizes one of these commands, the SPH-M560 (Reclaim) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Nuance voice command immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Location?” and displays a list of options. Select an option by speaking it into the handset microphone.
