How Do I Manage The Sounds & Notifications On My Virgin Mobile SPH-M910 (Intercept) Phone?

To manage sounds and notifications, follow the instructions below:

  • Change Ringtone

    You may preview the audio by tapping on the selection. When you find a satisfactory ringtone, tap Ok to Save.

    1. Press the Home Key 
    2. Press the Menu Key 
    3. Tap on Settings
    4. Tap on Sound
    5. Scroll down and tap Phone ringtone

     

  • Change Notification Ringtone

    You may preview the audio by tapping on the selection. When you find a satisfactory ringtone, tap Ok to Save.

    1. Press the Home Key 
    2. Press the Menu Key 
    3. Tap on Settings
    4. Tap on Sound
    5. Tap on Notification ringtone
  • Change Ringer Volume
    1. Press the Home Key 
    2. Press the Menu Key 
    3. Tap on Settings
    4. Tap on Sound
    5. Tap on Ringer volume and sweep to the left or the right to modify the incoming call ringtone or notification volume. Tap Ok to Save. 
  • Change Ringtone, Media, and Alarm Volume
    1. Press the Home Key 
    2. Press the Menu Key 
    3. Tap on Settings
    4. Tap on Sound
    5. Tap on Volume
    6. Tap on Ringtone and sweep to the left or the right to modify. Tap Ok to Save. 
    7. Tap on Media and sweep to the left or the right to modify. Tap Ok to Save. 
    8. Tap on Alarm and sweep to the left or the right to modify. Tap Ok to Save.
  • Change Other Notifications and Tones

    The device also supports other types of notifications and tones. The below listing give a brief description of what they are.

    • Audible touch tones: The device emits a sound when a selection is made on the device. This has been referred to in other devices as Keypad tones.
    • Audible selection: The device emits a sound when number is pressed on the dial pad.
    • Screen lock sounds: Play sounds when locking and unlocking the screen
    • Haptic feedback:  Vibrate when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions

    4. Tap on Sound
    5. Tap on the desired option (i.e.Audible touch tones,  Audible selection, Screen lock sounds, or Haptic feeback) in the box to place a checkmark to enable that function to be changed.
