Why Is The Dishwasher Not Draining?
If water does not drain from the dishwasher, check the following:
- Make sure the garbage disposal is not clogged.
- Make sure food debris is not blocking the drain in the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Remove anything blocking the drain.
Note: The images below are from Waterwall models. Your dishwasher may be different, but the same principal applies.
- Make sure the drain hose is not bent or kinked in a way that prevents water from draining. If it is, it needs to be straightened.
Note: A kinked drain hose usually occurs when the unit is first installed.
