What is Google™ Voice Typing on my Samsung Galaxy S® III?

Google™ voice typing is a feature that allows you to enter text using your voice.

Using Google Voice Typing

To use Google voice typing, you need to turn the feature on. Open the Notification Panel by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom, and touch Settings  > Language and input. Mark the box next to Google voice typing. You can touch the Settings  icon to edit the Google voice typing settings. Google voice typing allows you to Select input languages and Block offensive words.

To use Google voice typing when you are entering text, open the Notification Panel and touch Select input method > Google voice typing, or touch and hold the Settings  icon on the keyboard, slide your finger to the Voice  icon and release. Speak the words you want your device to type for you, and touch Done when you are finished. The Voice  icon will remain on the keyboard for quick access until you switch to a different mode.
