How do I take Screenshots on my Samsung Galaxy Note™?

    Using the S Pen

    1. Press and hold the S Pen button.
    2. Press and hold the S Pen anywhere on the screen.

    The screenshot will open automatically, allowing you to crop, share, or add a quick note to the image.

    Using Keys

    You can capture screenshots by pressing the Home  key and the Power/Lock key simultaneously.

    The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard and saved to the Screenshots folder in Gallery.

    Using Motion Gesture

    Your mobile device supports a "palm swipe to capture screenshot" gesture. You can turn this feature on in the motion settings menu. From the Home screen, touch Menu  > Settings  > Motion. Touch the slider  to turn Motion on . Scroll to and touch Palm swipe to capture to turn on this gesture. When the feature is on, a green check mark will appear. You can now capture a screenshot by touching the screen with the side of your hand and swiping your hand across it from left to right or vice versa.

    The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard and saved to the Screenshots folder in Gallery.

  • Viewing Your Screenshots
    1. To open a screenshot immediately after you capture it, open the Notification Panel by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom, and touch Screenshot captured.
    2. To view your screenshots at any time, from the Home screen, touch Apps  > Gallery  > Screenshots.
    3. Open the desired screenshot.
    4. When viewing the screenshot, the following icons are available at the top of the screen:
      • Favorite: Tag the image as a favorite.
      • Share: Share the screenshot with Bluetooth®, Email, Gmail™, Messaging, S Note, or Wi-Fi Direct™.
        Note: Additional sharing options may be available on your device. The options may vary based on applications installed and features you have activated.
      • Delete: Delete the current image file.
    5. Touch Menu  for the following additional options:
      • Slideshow: Start a slideshow of the image files in the current folder.
      • Face tag: Tag any faces shown in the screenshot.
      • Tag buddy: When this feature is turned on, you can add the Date, Person, and Location information displayed on the image.
      • Copy to clipboard: Copy the screenshot to the device clipboard for pasting into other applications.
      • Crop: Crop unwanted areas out of the screenshot.
      • Edit: Edit the image using Paper Artist.
      • Set as: Set the picture as a Contact photo, Home and lock screens wallpaper, Home screen wallpaper, or a Lock screen wallpaper.
      • Buddy photo share: Tag the screenshot for easy sharing with a contact.
      • Print: Print the image to a Samsung wireless printer.
      • Rename: Rename the file.
      • Scan for nearby devices: Scan for nearby devices you can share with wirelessly.
      • Details: Shows technical information about the picture, such as the size.
