What is the Fixed Dial Number (FDN) feature on my Samsung S390G?

FDN (Fixed Dialing Number) mode restricts your outgoing calls to a limited set of phone numbers. When this feature is enabled, you can make calls only to phone numbers stored in the FDN list on the SIM card. To activate this feature press Menu > Settings > Phone > Security > Set FDN Mode > On. Enter your PIN2 Code when prompted and press Confirm.

Note: The PIN2 code required to enable this feature is provided by your wireless service provider.

Creating FDN Contacts

To create FDN contacts on your SIM card, press Menu > Contacts > Contacts Settings > FDN Contacts > Options > Create FDN Contacts. Enter your PIN2 Code when prompted and press Confirm. Enter in the contact name and phone number, and press Options > Save when completed.
