Microsoft has received information from customers who are experiencing problems with Internet Explorer if they have an older version of the Yahoo tool bar installed.
Error messages include: "Internet Explorer has encounter a problem and needs to close," or "page cannot displayed". Microsoft has confirmed with Yahoo that is a result of some changes Yahoo made to their servers. Yahoo is working on a solution to the problem and apologizes to customer for any inconvenience. Yahoo expects to have their solution in place shortly. In the meantime customers can resolve the issue by uninstalling the Y! toolbar and restarting their browser. Customers can then manually upgrade to the latest version of the Yahoo toolbar which is not affected.
