Can I Assign MP3 Files As Ringtones On My SGH-A867 (Eternity) Phone?
Yes, the SGH-A867 (Eternity) handset provides the ability to playback MP3 files, assign them as a contact ringtone, alarm tone or as the incoming call ringtone. The music player supports audio files with extensions MP3, MP4/AAC, MP4/AMR, M4A, 3GP/AAC, 3GP/AMR, WAV, WMA, RA or MIDI. Note: RA files cannot be set as ringtones.
Note: Audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are considered as Music. You cannot set an MP3 file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.
You can also purchase a variety of multimedia files, such as ringtones, graphics, applications, multimedia contents, and so on from the WAP browser and download them to your phone’s memory. The phone has embedded links to the WAP sites providing you with download services, preset by your service provider.
