There Is No Sound When Trying To Play Song My SGH-zx10 Which Are Stored On The TransFlash Card, How Do I Fix This?
Caution: The plug-in microSD memory card and its contents can be easily damaged by scratches or bending. Use caution when inserting or removing the card and keep all memory cards out of reach of children.
The SGH-zx10 supports playback of MP3 audio files only. Some of the following issues may be causing this problem:
Regarding the Memory Card, if it is more than 512MB, it is recommended using a smaller size card. To format the card, please follow the steps below:
When the card is formatted, insert it into the Transflash adapter. If you have a USB Card Reader, insert the adapter in the Card Reader. On the computer, open the storage drive for the Card Reader through My Computer. The following folders should be listed:
Double click Music On Memory Card folder, this folder should be empty at this time. Open the Audio folder that contains all of your MP3 songs.
NOTE: If any of the MP3 files are encoded more than 192kbps, its use is not recommended.. To check the bitrates and authenticity of the mp3 file follow the steps below:
When the properties of the MP3 files have been verified, select all MP3s being copied (Edit > Select All) to the Memory Card, copy them (Edit > Copy) and paste them (Edit > Paste) into the Music On Memory Card folder.
