How Do I Use Voice Dial On My SPH-M810 (Instinct s30) Phone?
Nuance VSuite 3.2 is advanced speech recognition software that allows you to say commands to perform common functions supported by the SPH-M810 (Instinct s30) handset. There is no voice training required to use the voice recognition feature. Speak names or phone numbers naturally to dial, and use voice commands to launch applications.
Note: Nuance VSuite 3.2 recognizes the digits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and zero or oh. It does not recognize numbers such as “one eight hundred” for “1-800.” Instead, say “one-eight zero- zero.”
To initiate a Speak to Action session follow the steps below:
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Speech to Action immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. You can select an option by speaking or touching it.
