How Do You Configure The Roaming Feature On The SPH--A620?
There are two options available to guard against Roaming or to notify you while on a call, that you have entered a Roaming area.
Configuring Roaming Mode to Sprint
When the Roam Mode is set to Sprint, if you are on a call and enter a Roaming area, the call will immediately be disconnect. This happens because when Roaming, the phone will access any available tower which may not be a Sprint tower, if set to Sprint, the phone will work with Sprint signals only. To enable this option while in Standby mode
Configuring Call Guard,
When Call Guard is enabled, there will be an audible tone to notifying you while on a call, that you have entered a Roaming area. To enable this feature, while in Standby mode:
To disable the Call Guard feature: Repeat steps 1-3 and Step 4, choose Off
To Enable Roam, while in Standby Mode,
You will not be able to send and receive calls when in a Roaming area. However, we recommend contacting Sprint for information on any applicable charges for using the phone outside of Sprint's Network coverage area.
