How Do I Use Voice Dialing On My SGH-t539 (Beat) When Using A Bluetooth Headset?
Voice Command is advanced speech recognition software that can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on the SGH-t539 (Beat) handset. Speak contact names naturally to dial, and use Voice Commands to launch applications. Only 200 phonebook contacts can be voice activated through Voice Commands. If you do not specify which contacts are to be voice-activated, Voice Commands will, by default, select the first 200 based on alphabetical order. Note: If you have entered a contact name in all upper case letters (such as "JOHN"), the voice recognition software will NOT recognize if you pronounce the name, it will only be recognized as J-O-H-N (letter by letter).
To initiate a VoiceSignal session, with a Bluetooth headset, follow the steps below:
When it recognizes one of these commands, the SGH-t539 (Beat) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a voice command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates Voice Commands voice recognition without taking any action.
Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Commands immediately places the call. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the phone prompts you with “Which Number?” and displays a list of options. You can select an option by saying it or by using your keypad.
